FAQ
Questions we hear a lot.
If you don't see your question here, reach out. We're straightforward about what we do and how we work.
What types of businesses do you work with?
We work with small and mid-size businesses that are losing money to outdated operations. Most of our clients have between 10 and 500 employees. They're in industries like professional services, healthcare, government contracting, financial services, and technology.
Do you only work with government contractors?
No. Government contracting is one of our specialties, but we work with any business that needs help with technology, security, or operations. If you're running on manual processes and it's costing you money, we can help.
What does an engagement look like?
It starts with a free assessment. We look at your operation, identify what's not working, and tell you what we'd do about it. If you move forward, we work in two-week sprints with regular check-ins. You always know where things stand.
How much does it cost?
It depends on the scope. Digital Solutions projects typically range from $10,000 to $200,000+. Strategic Advisory retainers start at $5,000 per month. Cybersecurity assessments are typically $7,500 to $15,000. We give you a fixed price before any work begins.
Do you offer ongoing support?
Yes. We don't disappear after launch. We offer monthly retainers for ongoing support, security monitoring, and continuous improvement. Software is never done, and we plan for that.
What is PDCA?
Plan, Do, Check, Act. It's our operating model. Every engagement follows this cycle: we plan what needs to change, do the work, check that it's working, and act to improve it. Then we do it again.
Are you really veteran-owned?
Yes. Veteran Strategic is a certified Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB). That's a credential that matters for some government contracts, but it's not why most clients hire us. They hire us because we show up and do the work.
How long does a typical project take?
Most projects are completed in days to weeks, not months. We work in two-week sprints, so you see progress early and can adjust as we go. A typical automation project might take 4 to 8 weeks. A compliance program might take 6 to 12 weeks.
What if I don't know what I need?
That's common. Start with the free assessment. We'll look at your operation and tell you what we see. No obligation. Just clarity.
Do you work remotely?
Yes. We work with clients across the country. Most of our work is done remotely, with regular video calls and real-time collaboration. If you need someone on-site, we can arrange that too.
